We are now looking for commissioning Engineers for interesting projects in Brazil. Commissioning work starts during spring 2023. Accommodation will be provided.
As a Commissioning Engineer and Manager your responsibilities are to:
comply with customers HSE rules as well as with local requirements in the country of the site, comply with site rules and HSE policies and related instructions. Prepare, plan, and execute the commissioning work which includes going through the site control documents, contract requirements, check-out, start-up, and test runs. Also, operator training is part of the job.
During the check-out / commissioning period you will be taking part of inspections and testing. During the cold commissioning period the work includes:
- Installation checking
- Cold testing of instruments, control/safety system and electrical equipment
- Final checking of installation works
- Functional tests (P&I diagrams, sequences, interlockings, alarms, limits)
- Process simulations (water runs)
As a Commissioning manager you are also responsible for:
reporting and updating commissioning progress and activities/findings to project manager. Commissioning manager also hands-over the signed check-out lists/document to project manager, manager is also responsible for reporting the feedback and discrepancies to the customer.
During the hot commissioning period work includes:
- Start-up of equipment
- Finalizing hot commissioning procedures
- Notified Authority (NOBO) tests, when needed
Requirements for Commissioning engineer and manager positions:
- Previous experience in similar position from industrial projects (e.g., pulp process, fiberline or continuous cooking plants etc.)
- Good understanding of commissioning work and startup issues
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Very good level of English (Speaking and writing)
